It extends up in abdomen abutting left psoas muscle. It is noted abutting uterine fundus. It is anterior to the left iliac vessels and psoas muscle. Thin septa are noted radiating from the left ovary into the cyst.

Both ovaries are normal in echopattern.

Case Discussion

An irregular fluid collection is seen within the left adnexa extending up to the lumbar region. It abuts the uterine fundus and left psoas muscle. The ovary is noted at the lower end of the fluid collection. Few septa are noted radiating towards the ovary. Ovarian parenchyma is normal. Findings are consistent with a peritoneal inclusion cyst.
