Ultrasound study shows an enlarged left kidney, and abnormal hyperechogenicity with minimal internal vascularity in the color duplex study.

CT study shows the following:
Left renal vein thrombosis reaching its junction with the IVC.
Left ovarian vein thrombosis.
Swollen hypo-enhanced left kidney with edematous peri renal fat.
The left ovary appears markedly hypodense and hypo-enhancing with edematous surrounding fat.
Enlarged sub-involuted uterus.
Minimal intraperitoneal free fluid.
Bilateral mild pleural effusion (more left).
