Presentation
Sustained right femoral fracture years earlier, which was managed with TEN. Arrested development of the length of the affected limb.
Patient Data
Standing low-dose EOS XR
The right femur is shortened (see measurement), with resultant pelvic tilt and moderate genu varum.
As an incidental finding a circumscribed lytic lesion wit well-defined sclerotic margins and cortical thinning is visible in the lateral aspect of the left distal femoral metaphysis, which is in line with a benign non-ossifying fibroma.
Case Discussion
Limb shortening due to arrested bone growth caused by prior trauma, leading to genu varum, and a significant pelvic tilting.
