The pituitary fossa is enlarged and remodelled by a right-sided adenoma that both extends into to the suprasellar cistern compressing the chiasm as well as into the right cavernous sinus completely encasing the right internal carotid (Knosp classification grade 4).
Case Discussion
This patient had an initial prolactin level of 1857 mIU and went on to medical therapy, which successfully shrunk the pituitary adenoma.
