Bony pelvis is rotated but appears intact. Pubic symphysis and sacro-iliac joints are normally aligned. Right proximal femoral fracture through the intertrochanteric region.
Case Discussion
An example of how patient rotation can effect x-ray imaging of the pelvis in the trauma setting. In this case the bony pelvis is intact but there is a right proximal femoral fracture.
