Presentation

The patient had trauma by hummer object accidentally at work. On examination: there is pain and swelling over the left hand with tenderness over the left index finger proximal phalanx and MCPJ area.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

A comminuted fracture is seen at the proximal phalanx of the left index finger.       

Case Discussion

Intra-articular fracture extension, with mild angulation, is noted at the oblique view.
