Presentation

Limited pronation and supination bilaterally on clinical examination.

Patient Data

Age: 3 years
Gender: Male

There is a bony fusion of the proximal end of the radius and ulna bilaterally, inferring radioulnar synostosis.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates bilateral congenital proximal radio-ulnar synostosis characterized by bony fusion at the proximal aspect of the radius and ulna.

Some associated conditions have been described, such as Poland syndrome and Cornelia de Lange syndrome.
