Pulmonary cement embolism

The left hemithorax is retracted due to upper lobectomy. On the left side, pleural thickening is also seen.
On the right side, centrally, two linear hyperdensities are visible, cement embolisms into the pulmonary vessels.
Case Discussion
Pulmonary cement embolism is often asymptomatic, and it is unclear whether it was the cause for presentation in this case. After the vertebroplasty, the incidence is around 15%.
