Un-united trans-cervical fracture of the left femoral neck, treated by introduction of egg to relieve discomfort.
Case Discussion
Among inhabitants of some villages in rural Iran (about 1945), the introduction of an egg in the rectum was used for palliative treatment of some discomforts when there was no access to healthcare.
This unique and historical case is from Prof. Saeed Rad's archive, radiology department, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Iran.
