Rib osteochondroma

Pedunculated bony mass arising from the inferior aspect of the left posterior 2nd rib. The medullary cavity, as well as the cortex, are in continuity with those of the parent rib best seen on the coronal and sagittal reconstructions. A mass effect with scalloping is noted on the adjacent T3 vertebral body. No fracture or adjacent soft tissue mass is seen.
Upper thoracic scoliosis of right-sided convexity.
Case Discussion
The CT features are most consistent with pedunculated rib osteochondroma.
