Sigmoid diverticulitis

There are numerous diverticula of the sigmoid and left colon. One of the sigmoid diverticula shows an enhanced thickened wall with adjacent pericolic fat stranding and thickening of the parietal peritoneum. No perisigmoid abscess formation or adjacent extra-luminal gas seen.
