Several small fragmented stones aligned in the lower portion of the left ureter, resembling Steinstrasse. Additionally, a few small adjacent stones are depicted in the lower part of the left renal lodge.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates Steinstrasse, or stone street, a complication of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for urinary tract calculi, wherein a column of stone fragments forms that blocks the ureter. The most common site of the column of stone fragments obstruction is the distal ureter.
