There an ovoid well-corticated bony defect in the inferior aspect of the sternal body.
Case Discussion
Sternal foramen (or perforated sternum) is considered as a common developmental variant of the sternum and due to an incomplete fusion of the sternal ossification centres and seen in approximately 5% of the population.
