A - Thin window made up of either carbon, aluminium or titatnium.
B - Thin aluminium substrate coating the front part of the phosphor. The input phosphor is made up of a layer of sodium activated caesium iodide (CsI:Na).
C - Photocathode is made up of a thin layer of antimony caesium (SbCs3)
D - Focusing electrodes
E - External housing and shielding
F - Anode assembly
G - Thin aluminium substrate coating the front part of the phosphor. Output phosphor is made up of silver activated zinc cadmium sulphide (ZnCdS:Ag), also known as P-20 phosphor.
H - Ouput window is made up of glass or fibre optic bundle
