Subarachnoid hemorrhage

Extensive subarachnoid blood is demonstrated not only around the circle of Willis but also extending up into right Sylvian fissure and over the convexities. In addition blood has filled the pre-pontine and cerebellopontine cisterns.
Case Discussion
In this case cerebral angiography was performed and bilateral MCA aneurysms were seen. An aneurysm is a focal abnormal dilatation of a blood vessel. Cerebral aneurysms are true aneurysms mostly located near the skull base.
