History of hypertension. Acute severe headache.

Age: 65 years

Acute subarachnoid hemorrhage along the right and left Sylvain sulci, right central sulcus, and all basal cisterns also extending to lateral, 3rd, and 4th ventricles with resultant dilatation of the lateral ventricles.

Case Discussion

Hypertension is a known risk factor for subarachnoid hemorrhage. The case is graded as grade 4 subarachnoid hemorrhage according to the Fisher scale.
