Testicular microlithiasis

Multiple small uniformly distributed echogenic foci are noted in both testicles. No focal mass lesion. Otherwise the testicles are of normal size.
No hydrocoele or varicocoele.
Both the epididymises appear normal.
Case Discussion
Testicular microlithiasis is in itself asymptomatic and benign, usually found incidentally. Its association with testicular malignancy in asymptomatic patients is controversial.
Having no known risk factors, this patient is recommended for annual follow-up with ultrasound.
