Testicular torsion and infarction

Heterogeneous left testicular parenchyma with absent flow as compared to normal right testis.
Whirlpool sign demonstrated in the left spermatic cord.
The right testis has normal sonographic features and doesn't have a bell clapper deformity (not shown).
Case Discussion
This patient had the classical whirlpool sign of testicular torsion and had features of testicular infarction. The right testis was normal and had no detorsion features such as hyperaemia.
He was referred to the urologist.
