Unilateral hydrocephalus

Unilateral enlargement of right lateral ventricle with transependymal and periventricular edema. Midline shift towards the left side. Effacement of the left lateral and third ventricles are seen.
The fourth ventricle is preserved.
Case Discussion
Isolated right ventricular acute hydrocephalus. The patient has had meningitis in the past. One of the complications of meningitis is stenosis of the foramen of Monro, resulting in hydrocephalus.
