The correct usage of anatomical nomenclature is fundamental to good radiological and, more generally, clinical medical practice. Radiopaedia typically references Terminologia Anatomica and/or well-regarded reference texts (e.g. Gray's Anatomy) to guide the anatomical terminology used on Radiopaedia.org, although the final decision rests with the editorial board.
