The artery to the ductus deferens (deferential or vesiculodeferential artery) is a branch of the superior vesical artery, which in turns arises from the internal iliac artery via the umbilical artery.

origin: superior vesical artery
main branch: no named branches
course: accompanies the ductus deferens to the testis within the spermatic cord
termination: forms an anastomosis with the testicular artery
supply: lower third of ureter, ductus deferens and seminal vesicle
Variant anatomy
may be a branch of the inferior vesical artery or umbilical artery
may supply the ureter via a small branch
