Presentation
Chronic headache
Patient Data
A well-defined lobulated hyperdense intraventricular mass centered at the trigone of the left lateral ventricle. Vasogenic edema at the adjacent left temporal lobe.
Ballooning and dilatation of temporal horn of left lateral ventricle.
Intense homogeneous enhancing intraventricular mass centered at the trigone of the left lateral ventricle. This mass demonstrates isointensity to grey matter on both T1W and T2W.
It does not show restricted diffusion on DWI/ADC.
No abnormal blooming artefacts on SWI to suggest blood product or calcification.
Vasogenic edema at the left temporal lobe with dilatation of temporal horn.
Case Discussion
The patient went on for resection of the tumor given obstructive hydrocephalus and persistent headache. Histopathological examination proves the diagnosis of meningioma.
