Presentation
Caucasian with lung cancer, History of poorly differentiated lung adenocarcinoma in the left upper lobe 4 years ago and wedge resection of a 2.2 cm sized primary. Completed radiation concurrently with chemo 2 years later for recurrent locally advanced disease (N2, stage IIIa ).

The unnatural course of lung cancer and treatment.
Set of chest x rays over several weeks.
- Port most times suggest some cancer.
- Left upper lobe changes from radiation therapy.
- Spontaneous bronchopleural fistula with subcutaneous emphysema
- Initial treatment with a chest tube.
- Endobronchial valve placements in two sessions to seal the leak.
- Finally no leak and removal of the chest tube.
