Presentation

Abdominal pain, anorexia and abdominal distension for two years.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
ct

Inhomogeneous mottled liver with significant nodular enhancement of the central liver parenchyma and irregular outlines of liver (the so-called nutmeg liver) with hypertrophy of caudate lobe associated with non-visualization of the hepatic veins and massive ascites. 

Case Discussion

These above features are suggestive of Budd-Chiari syndrome.
