Cerebral arteriovenous malformation

Large nidus of malformed vessels measuring about 40 x 50 x 55 mm, with typical appearance of a "bag of worms", involving the left parieto-occipital region.
Left parieto-occipital encephalomalacia surrounded by gliosis at the site of malformed vessels, due to previous hemorrhagic stroke.
Arterial supply derived from left posterior communicating and posterior and middle cerebral arteries. Venous drainage to superior sagittal sinus and superficial cortical veins.
