Presentation

Three days history of right flank pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
ct

Circumferential mural thickening of the ascending colon extending to the hepatic flexure with small diverticula arising from the posterior aspect of the ascending colon. Mucosal hyperenhancement with pericolic fat stranding and thickening of the parietal peritoneum. No adjacent extra-luminal gas or perisigmoid abscess seen. No evidence of underlying neoplasm.
