Enlarged liver of bright echopattern with marked gall bladder wall thickening and edema denoting acute cholecystopathy.

CT
Axial C+ portal venous phase
Enlarged liver of homogenous CT texture. It has periportal tracking with halo and hypoattenuation suggesting edema. Gall bladder has marked wall thickening with contracted lumen and hyperdense inner wall. No visible calculi inside. Multiple small porta hepatise lymph nodes are seen associated with mild fat stranding.
Case Discussion
CT findings in diffuse parenchymal hepatic inflammmation, proved to be viral hepatitis.
