Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

A right cerebellopontine angle mass lesion with broad dural base formed of right tentorial leaflet. It is expressing homogeneous low signal intensity on T1 and T2, homogeneous post-contrast enhancement and no restricted diffusion. It doesn't extend to right internal auditory canal. It is associated with thickened enhancing right tentorial leaflet. Anteriorly, it is extending to right Meckel cave. It is indenting the left side of the pons.

Case Discussion

The presence of dural tail and no intra-canalicular extension of the lesion are in favor of right cerebellopontine angle meningioma rather than vestibular schwannoma.
