Constrictive pericarditis

Smooth diffuse thickening of the pericardium to about 1.1 cm, with associated left-sided pleural effusion. No calcification of the pericardium.
Smooth interlobular septal thickening and smooth fissural thickening, suggesting interstitial oedema.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates the CT changes of constrictive pericarditis, and in this patient, no aetiology was elucidated.
