Presentation
The patient slipped and fell and landed on his outstretched left hand at work, on local examination: there is pain and swelling over the left wrist and anatomical snuffbox area, the swelling extended to the mid-forearm and hand with tenderness and limitation in wrist joint motion.

Distal radial a nondisplaced fracture is noted, with no clear extension into the articular space.

The vast majority of distal radial fractures are relatively uncomplicated and can be conservatively managed as an outpatient with review in fracture clinic, like this case.
