Presentation
Incidental finding. Asymptomatic.
Patient Data
Isolated 10.6 × 3.4 cm liver subcapsular hematoma, without any apparent lesion.
Case Discussion
The patient presented above had no comorbidities. She also denied any previous history of surgery, trauma or use of medications. The hematoma was an incidental finding during an abdominal ultrasound, that the patient was taking for her annual check-up. A case of spontaneous liver subcapsular hematoma without any apparent lesion and in the absence of coagulopathy, in the nonobstetrical population is rare.
