Presentation

Right iliac fossa pain for one week.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Perforation is noted in the distal appendix. Base and proximal segments, as well as tip, appear normal.

There is a periappendiceal collection, inflamed fat, and adherent small bowel loops.
