The caecal appendix is located in ascending retrocaecal situation, with increased calibre, mucosal hyperenhancement and with appendicolith within, associated with moderate periappendicular inflammatory changes.
Case Discussion
Findings consistent with acute retrocaecal appendicitis with no signs of actual complication.
